In 2025, VICTORIA IRENE PRIDE founded VIP MUSIC LLC, a music entertainment business based in DeSoto County, Mississippi. The business was established to professionally manage and promote her career as an independent recording artist and performer. VIP MUSIC LLC reflects her commitment to delivering high-quality live entertainment and original music. Pride serves as the lead vocalist and lead guitarist of her group, the VIP Band. Through VIP MUSIC LLC, her mission is to provide exceptional musical experiences that exceed clients’ expectations. She is dedicated to providing exceptional live music and entertainment services for events of all sizes.

ARTIST
Victoria Pride, also known as “VIP,” born in 1995 in Oxford, Mississippi, and raised in Batesville, Mississippi, is an independent recording artist, performer, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist musician, and bandleader. Her musical style has been shaped by a wide range of influences. Her favorite genres include gospel, country, R&B/soul, and blues. From an early age, Pride displayed a passion for music with singing, writing songs, and learning to play multiple instruments. These instruments include but are not limited to the acoustic/electric guitar, drums, piano/keyboard, bass guitar, and alto saxophone. As a southern belle, Pride proudly embraces her country roots. “Country music was my first love,” she says. “After all, it’s in my blood.” She is a relative of the late great country music legend Charley Pride, whose remarkable career served as her earliest inspiration in country music. She is also a relative of blues guitarist and singer Christone “Kingfish” Ingram. They are related through the Pride bloodline. Throughout her journey, she has also drawn inspiration from other legendary artists across multiple genres. These artists include but are not limited to Dolly Parton, Prince, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, The Isley Brothers, B.B. King, Fleetwood Mac, Aaliyah, Selena, Reba McEntire, George Strait, Shania Twain, Beyoncé, H.E.R., Lainey Wilson, Chris Stapleton, and many others. Pride is a graduate of the University of Mississippi, “Ole Miss,” and formerly served as a police officer with the Memphis Police Department in Tennessee. Reflecting on her decision to leave the department, she explains, “I loved my career in law enforcement, but there was always a passion inside me that never went away.” Determined to pursue her lifelong dream, she took a leap of faith and dedicated herself fully to music. She continues to inspire others with her personal motto: “You never know what you can accomplish until you try.” Along with her favorite scripture, “I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me.” -Philippians 4:13

Rooted in her Southern heritage, she has developed a distinctive sound that is both heartfelt and uniquely her own. In the summer of 2026, Pride will make her debut as an independent recording artist, introducing audiences to her signature blend of music. Her original music showcases both her exceptional songwriting and her ability to bridge musical genre styles while remaining true to her roots. Pride believes an artist should never be confined to a single genre. Instead, she strives to create authentic, heartfelt music that resonates with listeners, regardless of style or musical category. Her philosophy is simple: “Great music has no boundaries.”
In addition to performing her original music, Pride delivers an extensive repertoire of cover songs spanning a wide variety of genres, including country, blues, southern soul, R&B, rock, pop, gospel, and more.
