VIP MUSIC, LLC
Victoria Irene Pride founded VIP MUSIC, LLC in 2025 located in DeSoto County, Mississippi. She founded this small business for purposes of conducting music more professionally as an independent artist and band. She is the lead vocalist and lead guitarist in her band called, the “VIP BAND.” At VIP MUSIC, our mission is to provide exceptional music experiences that exceed our clients' expectations. I strive to create a fun and engaging atmosphere for everyone involved, leaving lasting memories for years to come.
ARTIST
Born in 1995 in Oxford, MS, independent recording artist, singer, songwriter, and musician Pride was influenced by many genres of music. Her favorite genres are gospel, country, r&b/soul, and blues. She started writing songs and playing instruments at a very young age. These instruments include
the guitar, drums, piano, bass guitar, and alto saxophone.
As a southern country woman raised in Batesville, MS, Pride states, “Country music was my first love, after all it’s in my blood.” She is a relative of the late great country music legend, Charley Pride. He was her first inspiration in the country music industry. Other inspirations include Dolly Parton, Prince, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, The Isley Brothers, B.B King, Aaliyah, Fleetwood Mac, H.E.R, Shania Twain, Reba, Chris Stapleton, Lainey Wilson, and many more.
Pride is a graduate of the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and a former police officer for the Memphis Police Department in Tennessee. When people ask her why she resigned, she states,” I loved my law enforcement career but it’s just something about a passion that doesn’t go away.” She took a leap of faith and left her law enforcement career to follow her passionate dreams in music. She often states, "You never know what you can accomplish until you try!”
MUSIC
Pride embellishes contemporary country twang with a southern soulful melodic bluesy blend in her original music. She plans to debut her original music at the Meridian Temple Theater in Meridian, MS on June 5, 2026. She performs a variety of genres when it comes to cover music. These genres include but are not limited to, country, blues, r&b/soul, rock, pop, and gospel. Overall, she loves all genres and music is her passion!
